What data we hold

  • Customer data: name, email, phone, address — used to deliver the service and for billing.
  • Usage data: IP address, browser, referrer — stored anonymously for performance measurement.
  • Website content: text, images and products you add via the CMS — visible only to your customers.

Where data is stored

All data lives on Hetzner data centres in Germany (or Finland if you prefer) and Cloudflare R2 storage inside the EU. GDPR-compliant from day one.

Third parties

  • Stripe — payments (card details never pass through our servers).
  • SendGrid — email (open and click tracking is recorded).
  • Cloudflare — CDN, WAF and DDoS protection.
  • Google Places — used to discover businesses (not to track visitors).
  • Anthropic Claude — to generate copy (communication with them is not used for training).

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, corrections to it, or deletion at any time. Email hello@folio.is and we'll reply within 30 days.
