Terms of service

1. Service

Folio Websites ehf. (hereafter "Folio") provides hosting, website creation and a content management system (CMS) for small and medium-sized businesses.

2. Pricing and payments

The setup fee ($500) is paid once when you accept the preview. The monthly hosting fee ($30) is billed monthly via Stripe. All prices are in USD.

3. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time with 30 days notice. We send you a copy of all content as Markdown + a ZIP file. You own the domain.

4. Liability

Folio guarantees 99.5% uptime per year. If uptime falls below that, you receive a proportional refund of the next month's hosting fee.

5. Content

You warrant that the content you upload to your site (text, images, products) does not infringe copyright or applicable law. We reserve the right to remove illegal content.

6. Changes

We may change these terms with 30 days notice. If you do not accept the new terms you may cancel the service at no cost.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by Icelandic law. Disputes are resolved in Reykjavík District Court.
